Whispers of Gold
Sculptural Relics of Silence, Memory & Ritual

Whispers of Gold
Mixed Media Series – 2025
Whispers of Gold is a three-part conceptual series exploring the tension between silence and memory, ritual and rupture. It asks: what if silence could be touched? Through layered materials—cracked parchment, thread-bound sandstone, and sculpted heads with golden shards—the series imagines silence as a relic of survival, passed from one body to the next.
Divided into three forms:
Relic A: Framed cracked-paper works—archival and wounded
Relic B: Sculpted heads with open skulls and gold emerging
Relic C: Sandstone artifacts wrapped in parchment and thread, treated as ritual offerings
This series treats silence not as absence, but as memory embedded in matter. It invites viewers into a space between prayer, grief, and quiet resistance.
